Portrait Session FAQs

Q:  What day of the week are you currently accepting studio portrait bookings?

A:  Saturdays and Sundays

Q:  How will I know what to wear or how to prepare for my portrait session?

A:  After you contact me about a portrait session, an in-person consultation will be scheduled to discuss how you want to be photographed, who you want to be photographed with, wardrobe ideas, and how to prepare for your portrait session.

Q:  Do I need to have my hair and makeup done before my portrait session?

A:  You will be pampered with professional hair and makeup once you arrive at my studio.  Please arrive for your portrait session with clean hair and no makeup.  You might want to plan a night on the town after your session because you will look gorgeous!

Q:  How long will the portrait session last?

A:  Plan on four hours, which includes time for professional hair and makeup.

Q:  What is the next step, after my portrait session?

A:  A Reveal session will be scheduled within two weeks after your portrait session.  At the Reveal, you will view prints of your beautiful portraits.  I will build a package tailored specifically for you during the Reveal session based on the prints you decide to purchase.  The time needed for delivery of your final prints is dependent on the package.

Q:  What products do you offer?

A:  I offer matted wall portraits, folio boxes with matted portraits, acrylic, canvas, albums, and custom framing.

Q:  Do you outsource retouching or printing?

A:  I do all retouching myself using Photoshop.  All printing is done in-house for matted wall portraits, matted folio box portraits, acrylics, and canvas.  Printing for albums is outsourced.  Custom framing is also available.

Q:  Do you provide digital files?

A:  Digital files will be provided for all prints that are purchased.  This gives you an opportunity to show everyone how great you look for your personal branding, networking, blogging, and social media.

Q:  Where is your studio located?

A:  My studio is located in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
